Our client has been delivering high quality M&E Design and Build solutions for over 30 years, providing a national service to well known industry names throughout the retail and commercial sectors amongst others. Employing circa 100 staff across design, operations, commercial management and maintenance, the team works closely to ensure projects are designed, accurately costed and delivered on time which ensures regular repeat business and provides a strong trading base for longevity and success.
Preconstruction services grow year on year, and whilst external consultants are used during busy periods, the business attempts to keep as much design work inhouse as possible. To continue this trend additional HVAC design resource will be required and the company is keen to attract two Engineers to join the team:
- Lead Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer
- Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer
The appointed Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer will move straight into the engine room, supporting the Lead Engineer and providing design assistance to live projects. The Engineer will be tasked with producing heat loss and gain calculations, pipe sizing and researching products and costs to help facilitate commercially viable effective solutions for the customer to review. The ideal Engineer will be able to work under direct instruction and limited supervision, confident enough to manage their own time on a task to task basis, whilst learning more about managing projects and key accounts as part of a longer term development plan.
