Our client is one of the largest independently owned M&E Consulting Engineers in the UK, employing approximately 250 staff across 8 regional offices.
Our Client are a dedicated team of Mechanical & Electrical contracting engineers to the industrial, commercial, retail and leisure industries.
Our Client was first established just over 10 years ago and is a multidisciplinary building consultancy group that operates nationally within the construction industry. There are currently 4 businesses within the Group who cover disciplines including M&E Consultancy, Sustainability, Energy & Compliance, Building Control and Property Development.
The M&E Consultancy, based in the West Midlands, is seeing huge demand for their time especially across their 2 core sectors of higher education and health care. With office space available through sister companies in the group already in Leeds, and growing order book of northern based project, the decision has been made to develop a northern regional base in Leeds to organically grow the business and more locally manage live projects across Yorkshire, North East and the North West.
Applications are invited from professionally qualified and experienced Building Services Design Engineers interested in the challenge of establishing a new team within a strong M&E brand. Initially, due to the vast amount of work currently in the business, delivery will take priority and it is expected that as a figure head for the office a hands on client led role will be your first challenge. The next stage is to recruit a small team to delegate and manage the workload, leaving time to develop new clients and contacts both from inside and outside the current Group’s customer base.
This rare opportunity would best suit a Building Services design professional currently operating at Principal, Associate, Associate Director or Technical Director level - hands on enough to be able to design and lead schemes, however senior and experienced enough to take on a true no.1 role and build a commercially focused regional business.
